This was yet another fun box to open. This product is definately reminding me of UD MVP, except with a really cool looking base set and rookies!

But not only fun, this box had a lot of stuff in it. First of all, two jerseys. That was quite a surprise to me, the other two boxes were 1 per, so when that second jersey fell out I was really surprised! Heatley and Kovalchuk jerseys in the same boxes ... two Heatley's and a Kovalchuk tonight. Not too shabby as far as jerseys go!

The box's biggest downer were the rookies. Yes, I did get Spezza and thank goodness I finally got Chistov! After pulling THREE Chistov UD Retrospectives in my three boxes I think I would have hurt myself if I hadn't actually got his RC. So those are two helpful RCs as far as my setbuilding goes. Again though, 3 dup RCs that don't help my set. True the box did give me an extra jersey, but man I would have loved just 3 more common RCs I didn't have to help me out with the setbuilding.

The abundance of inserts was also quite nice. I got the extra jersey, an extra Great Depictions and ended up with 3 rookie UD Retrospectives. A lot of stuff to like, some good value (I don't care what Beckett says, for my $30 what I've got in hand now is superb!), and a good time. What more can you possibly ask?

UD Artistic Impressions. The product may not be flawless (the inserts are still boring and the UD Retrospectives are still kinda silly and have HORRIBLE cross-box coallation), but it's cheap and fun to break. Quite possibly the product of the year.
