for a product review, please see my first box break here.

This box was ugly not entirely because of anything it did, but as a symbol of the poor cross-box coallation in BAP In The Game Action. I only needed 80 of the 176 base cards the box provided and across 4 boxes (744 cards) only ended up with 490 of the 600 card base set (thus 254 were duplicates -- an incredible 34%).

But even worse were the inserts. The Messier Oh Canada, the Turco/Francis Home Boys, and the Brodeur Trophy Winners were all obtained in other boxes. The inserts are scarce even as it is, the least BAP could do is space them out so I don't get the same 1:64 insert twice in four boxes.

And unforetunately the jerseys don't do much to help the situation out for this poor box. Roberto Luongo's Bronze isn't bad, but I had my eyes set on other Bronze's. The Jeff Hackett Ruby Jersey is just ugly and makes me wish I had two more base cards to my set instead.

While one single box cannot really take the fall for poor cross-box coallation, this one still gets hit. Inserts other boxes had already given me, base cards other boxes had already given me, and two GOALIE jerseys?! Goalie jerseys, bah!
