Best Cards Gallery

This gallery is dedicated to the top 10 cards in my collection period. Doesn't matter if the card was pulled, purcashed, traded for, these are simply the top 10 cards I have: the cornerstones of my collection.

#10: 2001-02 Pacific Titanium Chris Drury / Milan Hejduk Dual Patch (129/219)

A nice, limited double patch card here. Drury's patch is especially nice, containing 4 different colors and Hejduk's is pretty nice as well. For a card that proved a little elusive for me to get, this was a very nice one to land.

#9: 2001-02 Parkhurst Chris Drury Game Jersey

Just regular Pakrhurst jersey cards weren't the easiest to pull, but to find a nice Drury Parkhurst jersey with a sweet swatch like this one makes it all the better.

#8: 2001-02 BAP Memorabilia Chris Drury SC Playoffs Finals Jersey

One of Drury's first jersey cards produced, and not produced for very long. This nicely-designed card was limited to a print run of only 40. Factor in the unique swatch and this card is a sure-fire winner.

#7: 2000-01 SP Authentic Justin Williams RC (14/900)

An RC, numbered to 900, from one of the most reputable series out there is always a good thing. Now have it serial numbered to the player's jersey number, and you've got one heck of a card!

#6: 1999-00 Topps Premier Plus Chris Drury Game Pieces Stick

Drury's first memorabilia card and also an unannounced SP. This card features a nice, generous swatch of stick with a nice pattern on it as well. First memorabilia card + big swatch + nice design = cool card!

#5: 2001-02 BAP Memorabilia Chris Drury Stanley Cup Champs Jersey (stated /40)

This was one of the first jersey cards Drury ever had put out (along with the SC Finals Jersey from BAP also on this page). This was the real big one I've always wanted, it's got everything. You got a picture of the guy celebrating with the Cup, it's got jersey in the shape of the Stanley Cup (one of the first jersey cards to do that), and it's extremely limited ... only 40 per. It took me a year and a half to finally get my hands on one. Sweet.

#4: 1999-00 Topps Gold Label Marian Hossa Fresh Gold Gold Label 1/1

It may be a parallel, there may be 10,000 of these out there without the 1/1 that are almost the same. But this still holds that 1/1 distinction, and however useless practically may make that, it's still pretty darn cool (just not quite as cool as ...)

#3: 1997-98 Donruss Preferred Marian Hossa RC

Hossa's premier RC was made even sweeter by a decitful Alexei Yashin silver single earlier in the box and the Hossa Cut to the Chase tagging along in the very next pack. Two rare cards, one great story.

#2: 2003-04 Topps Pristine Pristine Patches Refractor Justin Williams (5/10)

This card rivaled the Drury triple on the pulls page and it rivals it here as well. And while it can't quite get up to that same level, it's got plenty going for it on it's own, it's still an incredible card and easily one of the cornerstones of my collection.

#1: 2001-02 Stadium Club Chris Drury / Joe Sakic / Peter Forsberg Triple Souvenir Jersey (12/25)

What more can be said about this? You buy a couple of aging packs looking for some common RC for your set and you're greeted by a triple jersey featuring your favorite player and two other superstars. I'll take that over a Timo Parssinen RC any day!
