New Look for '97
The Ravens changed to new uniforms for 1997. Starter replaced Russell as the supplier of the Ravens' uniforms.
The jersey numbers are sans-serif (no "wing-tips"), and they have a drop shadow, similar to the 49ers' newer numbers.
The home uniform lost the black pants, which were replaced by white pants with a purple and black stripe. The stripe on the
away pants now has a purple accent stripe, and the patch has been moved from the front of the right leg to the upper side stripe on both legs.
So far, the helmets have not changed. Hang on to those first year souvenirs and jerseys!
