On the recording there are two distinct parts being played: one is a
bass and the other is what I think is a guitar, or a bass with a lot of
low end taken out of it, although I've seen this song played
live and Mike O'Neill plays a combination of both parts at
once. He's got more frets to work with than I do though.

This is the standard verse line, throughout the song some minor variations
are played, and played live it's a totally different story. So as long as
you keep the beat and stay in key, nearly anything sounds good.

The chord progression used here is D F# B A. I'm not particularly sure of
the voicings since both instruments play at the same time in different
voices, but here is an idea...

Bridge: verse part plays underneath overdubbed distortion track. The notes of
this
"solo" center around D again, since it's mainly feedback generated by picking
roughly and sustaining the notes, it's hard to tab it accurately but this will
give you an idea...

use these notes to simulate the sound of the recording or create you own.
