There are, of course, at least two recorded versions of this; the original 
on Valdy's self-titled first album(remember albums?) This is the "unplugged"
version from Family Gathering,as Valdy performed it most of the time.The
lyrics are slightly changed from the original. And with all due respect to 
the authors of Mondo Canuck, this is still a great tune! I'm still working
on figuring out the electric licks from the original...unless someone else
wants to...

Tuning: dropped-D tuning . The original version opens with some natural
harmonics on the 7th fret:
