HISTORY

The Dallas Toros now  known as the Texas Toros is a soccer club with a professional soccer team affiliated with United Systems of Independent Soccer Leagues (U.S.I.S.L.). The Texas Toros has been a member for the past 5 years.

The Texas Toros soccer club is committed to the development of soccer in North Texas.  Players and members of the orgainzation, coach youth soccer teams or provide technical assistance to  coaches of youth soccer associations.

The Texas Toros have participated in the McDonald's Soccer Clinics, Soccer in the Street (Housing Development Programs), Soccer 101, Habitat for Humanity and in the Legacy Tour 1994 for the benefit of all children of the inner city.

As a Soccer Club the Texas Toros have seven teams playing under the North Texas State Soccer Association (N.T.S.S.A.) and one team is playing under the Latin American Soccer Federation of North Texas (L.A.S.F.N.T.)

The Texas Toros Roster is made of local and some international players.  The players serve as  role models for the youth soccer players and the team provides professional soccer to a family atmosphere.

U.S.I.S.L
The U.S.I.S.L. was founded as a regional indoor soccer league in 1986, at the present time, the league has over 120 teams throughout the United States.  The league features on national T.V. the U.S.I.S.L Soccer match of the week on Prime Sports.    More information about USISL

In 1996 Umbro acquired 60% of the stock, it incorporated the Umbro logo to the League and formed a partner ships with the U.S.I.S.L.
