Our Mountain Home

This picture, and the one above, are views from our deck. We presently live in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. It is a small town, nestled in the mountains of Western NC, next to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. Our home hangs off the side of the mountain overlooking the valley. Favorite time here is winter when most of the tourists and part-time residents have departed.

This is a pic of our house. The steep grade means: NO GRASS TO CUT!!! The winters here are VERY mild. All of the snow shown in this photo was gone by the next day.
