We began a weight training program about six years ago. Bonnie and I are both into it. We have gone from "toning" to "bulking". I have come to the conclusion that it will be easier for me to put on 3 inches than take off 15 pounds!!LOL Bonnie's personal best on the Wide-Chest BodyMaster machine shown in the picture above is 250lbs!! We enjoy discussing technique and routines. We also have some good advice and tips for beginners. Bonnie's HIGHEST weight on the bench-press using free-weights is 205lbs. I always talk NICE to Bonnie!!

Our favorite routine is four sets with ascending weight and decending repetitions. We do upper body one day and lower body the next day with a 15-minute aerobic warm-up before and 15 minutes after. We do an abdominal routine after every two or three exercises.

Weight training is a great couples' activity. When one of us is not ready to workout, the other one gets us going. TEAM GILL!!
