The Baltimore Assassin

Since the start of the Net World Order, The Baltimore Assassin has been kicking ass everywhere and anywhere. The Baltimore Assassin, alongside Lady Kelly, climbed his way to the top, earning respect for the World Title after embarassing runs by "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Justin Credible. The Baltimore Assassin has bragging rights to having held the Tag Team Titles alongside the most number of people. (Five different partners: Shane Douglas, Jeff Jarrett, Rage, Neil Stylez, and Syzurz) Besides being a respected champion, he always offered advise to wrestlers stuck without an angle. He pushed a countless number of future NWO stars to or near the top, and his legacy in the Net World Order will not be forgotten.

Neil Stylez

Neil Stylez is one of the youngest people in the Net World Order roster. Ironically, some of his luckier days were in the early days of the original Net World Order, where he held the World Title at least 5 different times. Neil Stylez was often the comic (and pornographic) relief that the NWO needed in troubled times. With his name almost always in the spotlight, whether he was in the NWO or not, Neil Stylez found him self of two of the best feuds in Net World Order history: Neil Stylez vs. The Baltimore Assassin, and Neil Stylez vs. Shane Douglas.

Triple X

Triple X was the last breed of successful newcomers in the NWO. The NWO, especially in its final months, had a problem where the top wrestlers would stay on top, leaving everyone else on the bottom for good. Triple X was one of the very few to break through the Net World Order glass ceiling, and breathe some life into the company. Making his name alongside Hall of Famer Hardcore Holly, originally, Triple X wound up spreading his wings in both singles and tag-team competition. He easily dominated nearly every division, and had time to flirt with interviewer Pamela Paulshock as well. Being one of the quickest to actually DESERVE and WIN the World Championship, Triple X can easily be credited for helping the NWO survive.

Maxx Payne

Maxx Payne was one of the most tenacious wrestlers in the Net World Order. From the moment he entered the NWO to the day the NWO died, his eyes were always focused on the United States Championship. After a record four championship runs with the United States Title, he went on to set another record by holding it for nearly four months, shattering the title that earned Rampage's spot in the Hall of Fame. It's only fitting, of course, that Maxx Payne be the company's last United States Title holder.

Gene Simmons/Michael Graves

Gene Simmons is a character that went through many stages. But regardless of what angle he tried, it almost always brought success. While things began slowly for this superstar, every new bit of gold he tasted jolted him another few rungs up the ladder of success. He had carried his championship-worthy tag team alongside Sting, and nearly broke the four-month long reign with the United States Title on his first try (stopping short by merely 8 days). The most successful time in Simmons' career, however, was when he developed a split personality with an alter ego named Michael Graves. Simmons received immense respect and pushes for the gimmick, marking the most significant turning point in his career.

Jack Jacobs

Jack Jacobs was originally a wrestler that nobody even paid attention to. Simply, his gimmick was too simple to recognize, causing him to suffer defeat after defeat after humiliating defeat. After a break from the Net World Order, Jacobs emerged with a quicker temper, and an intense push. His Television Title reign threw him to the top, eventually landing him as the Net World Order's final World Champion. This title win signifies the Net World Order perfectly, because you simply never know who might make it, and who won't.

Syzurz

Syzurz was a brilliant gimmick to imagine. A Latino wrestler demanding respect from an American crowd should have been launched to the top quicker than the NWO's closing. Unfortunately, most every president didn't know how to properly use Syzurz. Of course, Syzurz' perpetual midcard status helped elevate a large number of talent with a series of high profile feuds. His most memorable feud was against Jack Jacobs, since it was a battle of two wrestlers that were obviously on the rise. Without Syzurz, almost nobody on this list would be as well recognized as they are.

Nick Patton

Nick Patton is one of the very few wrestlers that braved the frontiers of challenging a powerful stable alone. Having not been allowed into Ass Kickers, Inc., (despite AKi setting a stipulation on the European Title match between him and Kaos) he declared war on the five men, finding himself with Television and European gold. Unfortunately for Nick, his career run was cut short, for a reason unknown to the NWO. However, the potential that he had in the NWO was enough to give the company a boost.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin

There were many versions of Steve Austin in the NWO, but one of the best was done by Brandon Adams. While Brandon Adams may best be known as the handler of Blade, his work as "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is unparalledled BECAUSE of that fact. If you were to see his roleplays as Blade, and his roleplays as Steve Austin, you would be shocked by the amount of talent he had picked up in only a few short months. Adams credits his talents mostly to Kevin Cunningham, Shawn Hall, and Chris Wilson, who all decided to teach him how exactly to roleplay. Clearly, they did an excellent job when you see the incredible improvement Brandon made.

Gideon Trait

While Gideon Trait is not one of the most recognizable names in the NWO, he was most definately significant. Firstly, he was another potentially big star that had his career cut short (this was because the handler had to fight in the army). However, in his short stay in the NWO, Gideon Trait held the Hardcore Title, sporting a unique sophisticated gimmick. Gideon Trait was classy, reminiscent of the original Gorgeous George. Had Trait stayed in the NWO longer, he would easily have been a top contender.

(Unknown)

Of the many midcarders that the NWO had, these are the best.

Hall of Famers and Hall of Shamers notwithstanding, these 10 indeviduals are the brightest wrestlers that shined in the dying days of the Net World Order. They should be credited for holding the company up strong in its weakest hours, sparking new life into a weary corporation.
