Cars

I own a normally aspirated 1993 Nissan 240SX with over 170,000 miles. It has a 2.4 liter, in-line four cylinder engine equipped with 16 valves and dual overhead cams. I plan to keep the Nissan as long as I possibly can because it has never been in the shop for mechanical repairs in all the time I have owned it. This may be due in part to the meticulous care I have given it.

But, if I can figure out a way of buying a Volkswagen Gol in the United States, then I might consider replacing the Nissan. That's right, a Volkswagon Gol, not to be confused with the Volkswagon Golf! I have seen this car on many of my trips to South America and I suspect that it can be purchased in Canada. But if Volkswagon never gets around to selling the Gol in the United States I think I will settle for a used Volkswagon Corrado. Unfortunately, like my 240SX liftback, the Corrado has been discontinued.

I can perform most basic maintenance on automobiles and below is a list of some of the services and repairs I can do on foreign and domestic cars.

Motorcycles

I have been riding motorcycles since 1994. I own a black and red, 1989 Kawasaki Ninja 600R (SH29.7). It has an in-line four cylinder engine equipped with 16 valves and dual overhead cams. It currently has over 20,000 miles and is equipped with a Vance & Hines exhaust pipe, a K&N air filter, and a DynoJet Kit to enhance performance. In other words, if it had wings it would probably fly.

My next bike will be a Yamaha FZR 1000 Genesis Deltabox Combination (SH30.6)

I can handle most basic maintenance on motorcycles. The list below shows most of the services or repairs I can carry out on a Kawasaki Ninja.
