She formed half of the pop due DOLLAR which was created by herself and

DAVID VAN DAY in 1978, when they split from the boy/girl band GUYS & DOLLS.

Thereza & David were the real quality and they both teamed up to create on of the UK's most successful boy/girl duo's that British pop music has seen.

Dollar had over 14 UK hits during their period together and produced some classic pop records of the late seventies and early eighties.  Dollar only ever released three albums, although several compilation albums were released and they also appeared on the popular video hits videotapes.

Dollar also worked with top producer TREVOR HORN on by far their best album (THE DOLLAR ALBUM).  Trevor horn went on to work with bands such as FRANKIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD, ABC, YES and many others.

Thereza was (and possibly still is) one of the most beautiful and sexy women in pop music.  She was a great promoter of the mini skirt (no bad thing) and was guaranteed to raise the pulse of all male viewers! She and David were lovers for some time, but broke up, and this in turn led to the eventual break-up of Dollar.  Both David and Thereza went their own ways and both produced solo albums, but neither had much success.  Thereza also got involved in the music production aspect and produced her own advert jingles for radio etc.

Dollar reformed in the late eighties and released several singles, the most successful being a cover version of Erasure's OL'AMOUR which became a big hit in the UK.  However, David & Thereza eventually spilt again and went their own ways.  David reformed Dollar with another girl but with limited success and as for Thereza, she had a baby and moved to Australia, where I understand she now runs a jewelry business.

This site offers a small flavour of Thereza featuring some images and downloadable wallpapers of this stunning lady.

If you have any comments or any information (such as pictures of Thereza) please forward them to me and I will put them up on the site.
