The Rockets Finest.
Being the Rockets Coach since I started the team back in 1996 I have had the chance to meet some of the best players in Flag Football that Hull had to offer.
One thing which the Rockets have done well is play as a Team and the Teams of 1996 and 1997 were in my opinion ,the Best opportunity to see what the Rockets were about. Many will agree that the Rockets were one if not the best passing team in the League.
During every game the Rockets played hard nose football but also had the one main ingredient ,FUN . From the back-to-front bandana's to the silly dances and music played. It was always an enjoyment to go out on a Sunday for game play.
The 'new' Rockets ,as I call them , of 1998 and 1999 are younger than the original team. But again even though we've had problems over the last 2 years I have still enjoyed working with the players. We have alot of raw talent and as Head Coach I am still moulding the team into a championship side. I'm sure that very soon the Rockets will once again be one of the Best.
I'm sure all who have played the Rockets would agree that the Rockets were a formidable opponent and enjoyed playing them.
