On August 2nd 2000, Shihan Tony Annesi visited the Tan'itsu Shokan dojo and held a seminar on Transmutation (A Lock is a Block is a Blow is a Throw). There was a small turnout for the seminar, but a vast amount of instruction was given over the four hour period. Some of Sensei Postnikoff's students were in attendance and got quite a laugh from seeing Shihan Annesi demonstrate techniques on Sensei Postnikoff, most of which had Sensei finishing lying flat on his back.
