| 2nd of December 2001 was the darkest day in the history of the HWA. Backyard wrestling legend and 4-time world champion Gary Riot AKA Jason Fraser retired from the sport. After completing the most successful debut year in backyard wrestling ever, Gary Riot decided to call it a day. We look back on the glorious life and times of Gary Riot. On the first ever Saturday Showdown show for the HWA on a cold December morning Jason Fraser first graced the HWA mattresses and carried the dead-weight Sammy Ali to a TREMENDOUS match ending with the world's best move - The Riot Drop, a move rumoured to even have been used by God himself. Jason Fraser was also a comical genious in his creation of alter-ego's such as The Dosser, Bruce Pilchard and many other AMAZINGLY humourus superstars. Jason's amazing physical strength, stamina and suppleness was almost god-like and everybody would look on in awe at Fraser's every move and breath in the ring, on the dancefloor and between the sheets. Rumour has it that Riot's ways even converted muslims, jews and christians to create a new religion called "Riot-ism" So from the entire HWA, our message to you Mr.Riot - Don't forget the good ol' days, The Dosser, Frank.N.StYne, The Pizza Delivery Boy, The Rogue, Ben Shaw's, Bruce Pilchard, Todd Cranium stacking it through the chair and Sammy Ali's attempt to wrestle - Gary Riot : WE LOVE YOU.... PLEASE COME BACK, SAVE THE RIOT-O-HOLICS PLEASE?? |
