The Year In Review

Best Wrestler - The ChairMan- solid throughout the year and chilling promos

Most Improved - J.J Karnage - started off as a basic hardcore wrestler and turned into a brilliant, solid performer. Shame he has quit.

Worst of 2001
- Sammy Ali - I never like this question but if it has to be answered i'd say : Sammy as he looked brilliant sometimes but others - terrible.

Best PPV - Estranged Heroes - Without a shadow of a doubt. Fans, even if they were toddlers, great location and a strong card.

Worst PPV - InVasion pt.2 - A bit of a farce due to people not turning up. Some good bumps but nothing to be overly proud of.

Best Finisher
- Craig Miracle's finisher was quite stunning. Very innovative.

Best Mic Skills - The ChairMan - by far, can make you laugh, watch closely, cry (possibly) and any other emotion, a genious on the mic.

Best Gimmick - The Rogue - brilliant idea, played brilliantly. Very, very funny.

Ratings out of 10
-
ChairMan   -  9/10 - brilliant on the mic, always guaranteed a good match. Nice technical wrestler.

Sammy Ali  - 6/10 - One show could look like a strong contender for a main event spot, the next he looks average. It's a shame he can't keep a grip on his potential great wrestling and mic skills. When he gives an effort, it shows.

Todd Cranium 7/10 - Up and down year for me. There's always something important I need to improve on. I feel my wrestling has greatly improved in the 2nd half of the year but my mic skills need strongly improving, i think i can do it.

The Rogue
7 /10 - Started off as a little bit of a laughing stock. Started with a posh gimmick that didn't suit him. Struggled for sometime until given his current 'dumb/slow' gimmick which he took to like a shot. His wrestling also seemed to magically improve with it. Great potential.

Gary Riot       8/10 -  Greatly impressed on his debut against Sammy, with his amazing finisher - The Riot Drop. This guy went places in HWA thick and fast. Renound for comedy mic skills and stiff suplexes. A shame Riot and his comical character has left the HWA.

Double D       7/10 - Again greatly impressed on his debut with his awesome Swanton. Even hit it through a table on his debut, good to work with in the ring. Just needs to add a little to his offence and work on mic skills slightly, but overall a very entertaining guy.

JJ Karnage
7 /10 - JJ started off very basic (This not being a bad thing). He played his Hardcore character so very well. Gave alot of comic releif to the HWA shows with his comical hardcore antics. Then, he learnt some strange karate manuvers, which I was greatly impressed with. Once again, shame he has left us.

Poison            5 /10 -  Never showed up enough. When he wrestled he played a good 'big man'. Suprisingly good to work with most of the time, concidering his height. If he turned up more, he'd become a more complete wrestler.

Matt Atrocious   7 /10 - I have always really been a fan of this guy. I see Vince in him all the time! His wrestling ability is suprisingly good and his finisher, the Atrocious Cutter is a suprisingly good move. I hope he shows more.

Craig Miracle
6/10 Pretty good wrestler, very good mic skills. Just lets himself down by messing around really. That's about the only thing he could improve on!

What's your most memorable moment?

hmm Plunging off that ladder with a 187 through a pasting table on Double D to the sound of horror from the fans!

What was your favourite location?

If Olly's ring is included it must be that. If not, Marc's garden. Music. Matresses. Weapons. The lot.

Best period of the fed?

Around Estranged Heroes....Moral was high with The Rogue debuting. Everyone was enjoying their wrestling.

Favourite thing about fed?

hmmm... very hard. Satisfaction and appreciation after a top notch match

Worst thing about fed?
When people mess about during a match. Oh and arguments in and out of the ring. Very pointless stuff

Your thoughts on the ownership?
erm, pretty good. Nice storylines, hopefully more of them to come

What do you see for the HWA's future?

erm, It'll never be as good as it used to, in my opinion. I don't think anyone is quite as interested in it as they used to be. But, saying this hopefully we can prove me wrong!

Best feud of the year?

Todd/ChairMan. The everlasting feud between the two always brings out some top matches.

Quote of the year?

"Shut up!" - ChairMan... that compilation done it for me!

Rate the success of the HWA's year out of 10?

8/10: Fairly well known in the UK BYW scene and highly rated upon. A successful year.
