June 2000: *Liliya and Svetlana Boginskaia are going to be doing an exhibition at the Gymnastics Challenge.
February 2000: *Liliya won't be defending her Olympic title because of a lingering ankle injury
*Liliya is coaching and training at the Gemini School of gymnastics.
*She studies English 3 hours a day, 4 days a week
Liliya has a boyfriend
Liliya lives in an apartment in Florida with Galina Losinskaia, her bedroom window looks out onto a lake full of crocodiles.
Liliya was at the American Cup to cheer on the Ukrainian gymnasts.
Liliya has moved to Florida with her coach, Galina Lossinskaya to train for the Sydney Olympics
We have not seen Liliya competing at many competitions because she has had an operation on her leg and at the moment is going through rehabilitation. After the Olympics Liliya started feeling pain in her leg and for a year and a half the doctors couldn't work out exactly what it was. After and investigation done in the USA they found out that it was the result of microinjuries. Liliya says that if all goes well she will be back to active performances in a few months.
