Brick High School - October 2

Ah, the beginning of a new season, hopes were high and anxiousness flourished among our group consisting of a great majority of rookies. We came away from our first competition on a smile on our gracious faces when we heard "Lakewood High School" announced over the PA for our second place victory with a score of 72.2(considering we had not finished our show yet)

Brick Memorial - October 9

After another week of practice we were ready for another competition, but this time we were a little disappointed to hear a score of 73.3 for yet another second place finish

Trenton Regional- October 17

Trenton, The College Of New Jersey, A Preview Of Champions, Our first march onto the artificial turf of a stadium, what a new feeling to our feet, accustomed to the harsh bumps and dips if a normal grass stadium. A disappointing fourth place finish haunted us with a score of 75.4 Spirits were lifted however, when we heard that our colorguard tied for first with a score of 7.4

Another Preview of Champions, and this one lived up to it's name!!! The Lakewood Marching Band Not only took their First victory of the season, they took it in Lakewood Style. SWEEP!!! Lakewood Took Best Marching(16.8) Best Music(33.3) Best Overall Effect(33.7) Best Auxiliary(8.6) And Best Percussion(8.15). This Marked the 3rd colorguard victory in a row for our band. Way To Go Colorguard

USSBA Championship, Giants Stadium- November 5

The USSBA Championships finally arrived, the night we all had been waiting for. It was now or never, champs or chumps, It was OUR FIELD!!! Stay focused, don't look at the lights or the jumbotron, keep the confidence, show the pride. Well, Good News,....

1999 USSBA DIVISION 1A CHAMPIONS with a score of 90.95 Special awards include Best Marching(18.9), Best Overall Effect(36.45), For the Fourth time in a row Best Auxiliary(9.3 GO COLORGUARD!!!) and for the third time in four years Best Percussion(9.3)!!!! GO LAKEWOOD!!!
