Team Outline

The Ryley Rebels placed first in their league with 10 wins and 0 losses. The other teams in the league consisted of both 1A and 2A schools. The Ryley Rebels participated in four tournaments held in Tofield, Vegerville, Ryley and Vermillion. The Ryley Rebels placed first in the Regional Tournament hosted in Ryley and first in the Zone Tournament also held in Ryley. Their overall season record consisted of 27 wins and 3 losses.


School and Town Profile

Ryley is a progressive community approximately 80 km east of Edmonton on Highway 14. We have a population of approximately 475. Our recently renovated school houses students from seven to twelve, and junior and senior IOP. Ryley is home to a large indoor swimming pool, excellent sports grounds facilities, a fully serviced campground and Saftey-Kleen Environment Services. We have several churches, service clubs and recreational teams. Ryley hosts an annual Sports Day, a community Threshing Bee and Ry-Tof Slowpitch Tournament.
