Jack McAuliffe
(Napoleon of the Ring)

McAuliffe, who fought out of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York, was one of the
best lightweights ever and one of only five men to retire unbeaten; He was a
wonderful two-handed fighter who depended upon straight blows; A wicked,
hard-driven left jab and a left-right combination were his best punches; He was
also "cat-quick" on his feet; Nat Fleischer ranked him as the #5 All-Time
Lightweight in his early ratings
