The Flying Squirrels' season had to be considered a success. Finishing only 2 games below .500, the Squirrels also finished ahead of Bite Me! (now Diesel),one of the original MCL franchises. Jason also initiated a bitter rivalry with Erwin in 1997, and this feud promises to burn even brighter in 1998.
