Coat of Arms Armagh sites on the internet Coat of Arms

These, in no particular order, are a few sites I located on a couple of searches. They represent what I could find related to Armagh on the internet.

The Armagh Planetarium has a very well put together page. Very professional (translation - means better than I could do it!), worth a look.

The Armagh Observatory site is worth a visit if only to try out the moon fun page!

Emain Macha, also known as Navan Fort has now got a site up and running. Clean and easy to use.

The official Northern Ireland Tourist Board site on Armagh. Takes a fairly cursory look at the one fair county in Ireland.

Yes, it seems pretty unbelievable but a bank has put its Armagh branches on the internet. See this astounding occurence at the First Trust/Allied Irish Bank site.

This site claims to feature the best of Ireland. Strangely it isn't entirely dedicated to Armagh:). Still have a look at it on Internet Ireland.

The More Power to Your Elbow site keeps calling them a Tyrone band even though two of them are from Armagh. Well at least now we know where the talent lies.

The Newry Home page is ,predictably, a eulogy to Newry. Still, not a bad page, worth a look for the interesting detail it provides on the town.

The Armagh council page was hilariously devoid of anything at all when I visited it first. Still I presume they intend to develop it so give the Armagh City and District Council page a chance.

The Newry and Mourne District Council page, loath to be out-done by Armagh is also empty, still give them a chance.

The Craigavon Borough Council page, in keeping with that morose North Armagh efficiency, is up and running and actually looks alright.

The Royal School in Armagh, is worth a look. Currently the only school in the county present on the internet.

Fancy a video? Xtra-vision goes to the bother of noting its Armagh outlets on the internet.

Apart from being an excellent site with information on every two horse town in Ireland the Irish National Tourism Service provides an impressively comprehensive coverage of Armagh for the tourist. Definitely have a look.

Were your predecessors cattle-rustlers. May be you could find out with a visit to the Armagh Ancestry page. Note Hughes is one of the most common names in County Armagh!

This is a rather mysterious site simply entitled Armagh and contains a collection of historical source material related to Armagh.

At the moment the Queen's University at Armagh page is rather sparse but hopefully as the campus picks up momentum that'll change.

Of course it had to happen, those Crossmaglen ones think they're a race apart. Have a look at South Armagh on Line and nod while they tell you how great they are!

Infosite Ireland is similar to the Irish National Tourism Service site but it is neither as comprehensive or as quick. Still have a look and see what you think.

I hope that has gone some way to sating your urge for information on Armagh. I hope to keep this page up-to-date, the last update line at the bottom of the page will let you know when I last added sites to this page.
