FAMILY GYM

Ages 18 months to 3 years

An excellent opportunity to introduce your child to enjoyable, confidence-building activities using scaled-down gymnastics equipment and other small equipment. A parent/caregiver participates actively with the child, under the direct guidance of a qualified instructor.



KINDERGYM

Ages 3 to 5

The preschooler who is ready to work in a small group with a coach will benefit from a program of activities designed to build basic movement pattern skills on all the apparatus, increase confidence and develop strength, agility and coordination. Weekly themes add to the fun!



RECREATIONAL CLASSES

Ages 6 to 14

Fun, Fitness and Fundamental Skills! Boys and girls will progress to learn and achieve their levels in the CANGYM Badge Program. Proper learning progressions are emphasized. Each gymnast is evaluated every 12 weeks to determine whether they progress to the next badge or set goals to achieve the current badge.



ADVANCED RECREATIONAL

Classes for gymnasts who have completed Bronze level of the CANGYM Badge Program. The advanced gymnast will attain more skills, strength and flexibility. By selection only.



TEEN GYMNASTICS

Ages 13 to 19

Instruction on all events for high school girls, build on existing skills learned from Physical Education classes or extra practice for high school competitions.



ADULT GYMNASTICS

Get back into the swing of things! Spring into a new sport! You will enjoy this fun, low-threat approach to gymnastics.



TRAMPOLINE

Ages 7 to adult

Learn basic to advanced skills and routines while working through the OGF levels. Class size limited to six in a group for maximum activity.



T’N’T - TRAMP & TUMBLING

Ages 7 to adult

Defy gravity! Learn basic to advanced skills on trampoline, mini-tramp and tumbling in a recreational level class. Earn your t’n’t levels, one through six. A great fitness activity and lots of fun.



RECREATIONAL RHYTHMIC

Ages 6 to 14

Children will learn and explore movement and dance in a fun atmosphere. The program emphasizes the use of expression and imagination to music. The children will also learn the proficiency in object control with the use of flags, hoops, balls, scarves, ropes and ribbons.



ABILITIES PROGRAM

Physically and developmentally challenged gymnasts will be integrated into VVGC’s existing programs based on assessment. The program will be taught by a NCCP certified coach. Programming is developed in consultation with Five Counties Children’s Centre.



COMPETITIVE RECREATION

The goal of this program is to provide each gymnast with the experience of training to achieve her personal best and competing in fun, low-key meets. By selection only.

The Vivants are able to provide the training and atmosphere that will enable the more serious athlete to succeed at Regional and Provincial Levels. By selection only.
