***Cradle - pass - scoop the key to the game.***

The Cradle - Hold stick with two hands. Bottom hand high and top hand close pocket. Hold stick parallel to the body and rotate stick from side to side. Objective is to create centrifugal force to keep the ball in the stick to maintain control of the ball.

The Catch - When recieving a pass, make sure the face of your pocket is exposed to create a maximum area to catch the ball. Once you catch the ball, give with the stick and cradle to gain control. Check to make sure you have the ball!

The Scoop - When the ball is on the ground, make a deliberate attempt to scoop it up, and commit, assuming you have the ball. Once you scoop, cradle and check to be sure you have the ball.

The Check - Checking should only be attempted if you have "position" on your opponent. If the opponent "Gives" you their stick, then you should try to knock the ball out with a hard, quick, short snapping motion away from the body. Checking should ALWAYS be done with 2, that's TWO hands on your stick.
