Well I would just like to say we are the Champions!!! Australia are the new WORLD CHAMPIONS of the game they play in heaven. Well done boys and congratulations to the whole organisation that contributed to the only country to ever win the World Cup twice. Makes you proud to be an Aussie. I would just like to add that the Australians only let in one try throughout the entire tournament, now that is commitment!!!!!
Last night was just the perfect finish to an otherwise miserable end of week. I purchased a new 17 gig hard drive and in the process of installing it unfortunately "Fdisked" the wrong drive losing 13 gig of data form one of my existing hard drives.
Yes it had to be the one with all my games and newly constructed FTP site and all the files that I had acquired. To say I was a tad miffed would be an understatement.
I would like to thank Judge and Dozzer who helped me yesterday to fill up my new drive and my other "new" drive with some of the stuff that I had lost. The most important being I now have Q2 and Q3 back. The other stuff will be a slow process to regain.
The planning of the Melbourne sojourn progresses. The bus is booked we have a .plan to pick it up and meet back at Judges. Ned has laid out an informal itinerary which will need some discussion among the travellers so we all know what is happening. To that end Ned has sent e-mails to inform all of a "SUNDAY NIGHT" Chatfest prior to praccy.
From my point of view other than LANing I would like to catch up with Pappy and have a feed and a few beers with the old fella. I wouldn't mind even being a groupie for one night to hear his band play. Other than that request I will go with the flow.
I for one am looking forward to catching up with the guys at the Warehouse who have so generously donated some floor space so we can crash there. Thanks fells.
I am also looking forward to meeting BW's squeeze :)

The last 3 days I have been helping a mate out after he bought his new PC. The new PC is unbelievable ( lucky bastard ) I got him the new Abit BE 6 Motherboard and a P3 450, 128mb of PC100 133mhtz ram and with this combination he is now the proud owner of a P3 600 all done via the software of the motherboard. Now that is impressive!!!
The reason I was taking so long was I was doing it after work and his Mum is the second best cook in the world ( after Brenda ) she is Italian and man the food is exquisite. So I wasn't getting to the machine till about 8.30pm each night after a 3 course meal and Red wine to boot.
In the course of events that transpired I realised that I love this shit. The tinkering, the setting up of programs, the allocation of resources and just the whole gambit makes me happy. Even when it all doesn't go well it is still fun in a weird sort of way. Frustration but the quest to solve it before I ring the guru is worth the grief :))
When I eventually got to check my email I had 112 messages from some warped sense of humour clannies...Gee I wish I was there to have taken part in the discussion you bunch of degenerates. Talk about mature :))))
1 week to go and we are off to Melbourne I can hardly wait.

Seems to me that when it rains lots of shit happens that you can't control. The grass grows faster, the house smells damper, your wife gets bossier why? It beats the shit out of me. Why can't people just get on their PC and have fun who cares about the washing the floors the grass the car the kids I am busy having fun on my PC so piss off and let me be :)
Ok I am on the BUS officially...Due to work commitments my daughter now won't be celebrating her birthday shopping in Melbourne she will be serving customers at Woolies. So that leaves me free to join the rest of the clan on the adventure south.
I spoke with Judge yesterday and we named names i.e. Dillon, Judge, Dozzer, Loverat, ThermO, Wayfarer as confirmed travellers. if there is anyone else get in touch asap. I will check out the 14 seater tomorrow re comfort and space and get back to everyone who is going. I can hardly wait :))
I hope all you good Australians stayed up last night and supported your team in the World Cup. I know BC and I did and we both at times shit ourselves as the game progressed ( in my case not literally I can't speak for BC ). In the end after 20 mins of overtime we overcame the cheating bastards and WON!!!!! 27-21. We now play either NZ or France in the final of the WORLD CUP next week. Go you froggies.
I have been cruising the net most of the weekend due to the poor weather we are having atm and I can't help but notice that there is a lot of discussion about CPU's and their performances. In the end as far as I can tell no matter what you get someone somewhere is going to say " Oh...you shouldn't have got that you should have got this..." The same can be said about video cards and 3D Accelerator Cards. All I know is I am as happy as a pig in shit with what I have :))
I have been playing on the net server that Wireplay has made available to the rest of the world and that BPC lets me play on without charge and let me tell you something about lameness. There is a player by the name of "Joker" who somehow has managed to make himself invisible to all players and runs around killing everyone and thinks he is the ants pants. Now that is "LAME" what kind of fun is that I ask you. Maybe fun for a minute or two but after that why even play the game against people what for...he is an official FUCKWIT. This server is also rife with BOTS...sigh...what's the point.
Ok that's it for the minute. I am off shopping with the missus God knows whatever for but I am sure it is out there somewhere.

Well the changes to the page haven't gone as well as I expected so atm I will be staying with this format for awhile.
In the past few weeks while I haven't been doing any updates there has been plenty going on.
We had a royal visit from Ned and \Slash, Clan drinks, [ROA] [GX] [Visitor] LAN at Judges, MPU. Whoever said life begins at 40 must have been a puter jockey :)
The LAN at Judges was one of the best I have been to. As usual Judge was the host with the most and had minimal play time as he was looking after everyone, Thanks Judge.
We had a visit from "Bozo" the clown at the LAN who entertained me and ThermO at 5.00am with the kiddie bike ride very skilful :) and nice pants too.
The trip down south is fast approaching and I have sent an e-mail to everyone who is interested in going. Atm I won't be on the bus as my wife and daughter want to go too. It is my daughters 21st and she wants to shop ( go figure Ned ) so I will be driving them down, but I will be with you in spirit and if things change I will be on the bus and drinking spirits with you :)
A few things to mention here.
A couple of weekends ago I attended a LAN at Arnie's[LOA] place with Dozzer and had a great day playing all sorts of games including lots of Counterstrike this game rocks. Speaking of which our great mates [ROA] are something of a killing machine in this mod as we found out at Judge's LAN.
A big "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" to my little mate natslovR for Monday the 25th I hope you had a great day bro.
The people who are familiar with the saga of my son's car will be happy to know it is almost back on the road, this time with a fire extinguisher on board :)
