ANDY'S SCCER WORLD
TERMINATOR CENTRAL

TERMINATOR HISTORY

The Terminator Soccer Club was formed circa 1991 by a few unknown and undedicated people. The original team was taken over in 1991 by Daniel Contreras and Andy Upton. Over the years many players and their families have come and gone and we went from one team up to our current thirteen teams. We look forward to helping each player grow to learn and love the game as much as we do.

WE WOULD LIKE TO WELCOME ALL OF THE NEW FAMILIES THAT ARE BECOMING TERMINATORS THIS SEASON. WE HOPE THAT YOU ENJOY YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH OUR CLUB!!!!!!!!!!

FALL '05

As the Fall season is upon us, alot of change has happened around our world. The 95s lost three long-time players to the select world - Elizabeth, Bobby, and Lucas. We wish these Terminators well with their new teams and we can't wait to see you play. The 88 boys team also lost some of the older players that have graduated and moved on to college and other things: Matt, Matthew, and Dustin. Good luck guys and we'll see you again. We also have some more new teams and some new coaches & we hope that every team has a successful season season.

As the Spring season comes to a close - I'd like to reflect on our accomplishments and additions. We welcomed many new kids into the club this season: Jim Denning picked up some U5 girls that were left over in the pool and Amanda Bilton started another U5 girls team. Coach Larry also started an extra U8 girls team. As of this writing, we added two more City Championships to the list: Andy's U16 Boys and Dan's U19 boys won titles again. Mario's U19 girls game was rained out last night and will be made up next week.

FALL '03

As we embark on our 12th year of Terminator Soccer, I would just like to take a second to thank all of the people involved over the years. By no means will this list be complete, but I'll try to thank as many people as I can.

Here we go:
Thanks to: Dan for starting it all; Joe for the few years he was with us; Michele for being a coach, parent, and supporter; Danny and Belinda; Jamey and Teri, Jim, Marianne, and Alex; all of my original 85s (good luck in college); Mario Martinez and Family; Scott, Robert, and Larry for continuing the tradition; and all of the players and their families that have been a part of us throughout the years. Anyway, have fun, work hard, and play harder this year!!!!!!!

FALL '02

WELL, this is the first season in a while that we are losing teams instead of adding teams. However; we feel that the ones remaining are all really strong and have great futures. Coach Jim lost his U7s and Coach Joe lost his U5s. Larry's team moves into U7 this Fall. The 95 boys team will be playing "up" a full year in the U9 bracket - we wish them good luck. The 94 girls actually will play against their own age group this Fall in U9. Robert's 91 boys look to vastly improve this Fall with some new players and a new attitude. The 89 team is going to the select league and the 90s continue to do well in Classic 2. All of the coaches are looking forward to the season and we hope everybody has a good time. Last year was a banner one for our club - with the 86s winning the State Championship and the 88s coming in State Runner-up. Four other teams made the City Final and we are extremely pleased with the hard work and dedication. Lets hope that some of that success gets repeated this year.

SPRING '02

Here we grow again - Coach Jim's team split with a few kids moving up to U6 and Larry Caruso taking over that group. And Coach Joe is starting another U5 team the Spring with some little Terminator siblings. The 94 girls team will be playing "up" a season in the U9 bracket - we wish them good luck. The 89 team is going to the Metro league and the 90s continue to do well in Classic 2 league. All of the coaches are looking forward to the season and we hope everybody has a good time. Last Fall was a banner year for our club - with the 86s winning the State Championship and the 88s coming in State Runner-up. Four other teams made the City Final and we are extremely pleased with the hard work and dedication.

FALL '01

Everybody hold on - our family is growing by leaps and bounds. We have lost one team, added three teams, and welcomed one team back to the family!!! We lost Marianne's '94 boys team, added Jim's '97 team, Robert's '91 team, Mario's 87 girls team, and welcomed back some '85s that were playing for the Storm who have changed their name back to the Terminators and got a new coach!! Coach Dan took over the 89s with Coach Jamey concentrating on the 90's going select and it will be crazy trying to keep up with everybody this season.

SPRING '01

The Spring of 2001 is turned out to be another great season for the Terminators Soccer Club. All of the teams worked very hard this Spring and each coach is satisfied with their improvements. The Tyler Tournament was a big success - the 86s won 2nd, the 87s won 2nd, the 88s won 4th, the 89s won 1st, the 90s won 3rd and the three little teams played well and had lots of fun. the 90s and 89s are playied each other in the U12 Boys City Championship game - the 89s won in overtime. The 87s easily won the U14 Boys City Championship game. The 86s lost in the U16 Boys City Championship to the defending State Champions BadBoyz.

FALL '00

The Fall of 2000 was another good season for the whole club. The 87 boys won the U14 City Championship and the 88 and 86 boys both made it to the City Championship games. The 89 and 90 boys had great seasons and both lost in the semi-finals of the playoffs. The 95 Coed team took great strides in developing into a great little team. The 94 girls moved up to the U7 ranks and had a great time on the bigger field.

SPRING '00

The Spring of 2000 was almost a carbon copy of last Fall. Once again we had THREE teams win the City Championship!!!!!!! The 88s were the first: a 2-0 overtime win over AllOut. That '88 team has now been to five out of the last six City Championship games; winning two and losing three. The 90s won again, this time over the Flame by a score of 1-0 in overtime. Finally, the 86s finished off the TRIPLE Back-to-Back feat by strumming the Renegades again!!!!!! This was a MAJOR accomplishment for our club and it probably will never be repeated again in the Mesquite Soccer Association. The whole club is extremely proud of all of our teams and hope that positive things continue to happen for us.

FALL '99

The Fall of 1999 was a great season for our club. Besides the addition of the U5 coed team and the numerous good games and great sportsmanship; we had THREE teams win the City Championship!!!!!!! The 88s were the first: a 6-0 win over AllOut. This was their first championship after four tries at the City finals. Next up was the 90's and this was also their first title. They completely beat the Red Hots by a score of 8-0. Finally, the 86s won the City Championship again but this was their first time to win it in the Fall which allowed them to represent the city at the State Tournament. All three teams were primed to represent Mesquite and the Club at State but bad weather forced the 88s to be cancelled. The 86s went 1-1-1 in group play but did not advance to the final round. The 90s lost in the Final and brought home second place for their efforts. The whole club is extremely proud of these three teams and hope that great things continue to happen for all of our teams.
