About Our Club:	Located on Vancouver Island, BC, the Nanimo District Track and Field club is a member of the Vancouver Island Athletic Association whose purpose is "...to provide athletes, coaches, and officials in schools and in the community opportunities to develope their skills from regional to international level. " The Vancouver Island Association Society Members include 18 Regional Track and Field Clubs which are very supportive of race walks and include the event in all their Series meets. The Nanimo District Track and Field club has among its members former Olympians Angela Chamber and Phil Olsen and Canada Games Race Walk Champion, Canadian Juv. & Jun. Race Walk Record Holder, Canadian Jr. Race Walk Champion: Karen Foan. The Nanimo District Track and Field club sometimes competes in the Seattle area and invites walkers to come north around Easter for the Nanimo Sea Wall Race Walk.
Annual Races:	The Nanimo Sea Wall Race Walk (around Easter time).
