Children Updates!:
June / July 2004:
The kids are really growing big! Aaron is 5 1/2, Isaac is now 3 1/1, and Jeannie is 1 year old now! Jeanne just said "puppy" very clearly! I finished loading up December 2003 pictures, including
December 2003,
Christmas 2003, January 2004, and February 2004.
Dec 02, 2003:
Added another 11 pictures of the Weiss Family, taken November 2003. I think Jeannie's first tooth has poked through! And she's closer to crawling every day! These pictures are great ones of Aaron's first bike (a nice Huffy 16" that we got for him a month before his birthday). He really loves it!
November 21, 2003:
Finally - after 5 months, I loaded up some new pictures of Regina and the rest of the family. You can see them here. She's really doing great - she sits for a while by herself (before she falls over) and gets up on all 4s and rocks back and forth a bit - almost to the point of crawling, but not yet. She still scoots forward (usually bumping her chin!) to get what she wants. She's really cute, and makes a lot of great little noises, coos and giggles a lot. Aaron is also doing great, he'll be 5 in December, and is really smart - he can spell his name in sign language, and is very preceptive! Isaac is a bundle of energy, as he rarely sits stil for anything other than the mind-numbing past-time of movies or TV. He's a good boy though, and is still very cute, with that "baby boy" hair turning into "young kid" hair. Ah, they're growing up before my eyes!
June 30, 2003:
Yay!! Regina Weiss was born June 2003. She weighed 7 pounds, 20 ounces, and she was beautiful! Here are two early pictures of her, before we even brought her home from the hospital. Jennifer and Regina are both doing fine. The boys are taking well to her, petting her on the head, and making sure they know where she is at all times ! She's really cute! More pictures to follow!
June 2003:
Well, Weiss Baby #3 is due in 2 weeks, so I figured I'd add a few pictures. Just two though, from February
2003. Still, its nice to see some new pictures once in a while. I'll hopefully have some new baby pictures
shortly!
February 2002:
Wow! My kids are really growing! My brother Andrew had scanned in about 100+ pictures for me,
but I haven't had the time to put them online yet. SOON!
January 2002:

I updated Aaron's Growth Chart page with his new 9 month statistics! He's doing awesome - crawling all over the house, using the furniture to stand up and grab things from the higher surfaces! He stands for longer periods without holding on - up to about 10 seconds now - before he realizes he's not holding onto anything, and falls over! He eats a wide variety of foods, including a lot of stuff from our plates like potatoes, carrots, chicken, soups and other neat stuff! He really loves Cheerios and those Goldfish crackers! I've got a bunch of pictures to scan - and should have them up sometime soon!

Aaron is doing fantastic! He's crawling around the house, very fast now, and also standing up whenever he gets the chance, holding onto things. He lets go and stands there by himself for a few seconds, before re-grabbing on, or falling onto his bottom. He eats Cheerios eagerly, and also anything that we feed him from our plate (flaky pie crusts, ice cream, whatever!) He also now has FIVE Teeth! 3 on top - including one incisor, and 2 on the bottom! He's chews on lots of stuff! He's got his 9 month check up next week!

We went to the shoe store and bought Aaron his first pair of shoes! He really didn't mind having them on! They were size 5 1/2 WIDE! Nice and white too.

Man! Not many additions to the page as of late! Today I loaded up the picture of Aaron in the newspaper from July 31, 1999. You can see it here! Aaron is crawling ALL over the place! He stands up using the furniture, or whatever is close by. He loves Cheerios, and also eats a lot of table foods lidk carrots, bannanas, (anything that is mushy!) He just keeps getting cuter and cuter! I've got 2 rolls of pictures left to scan in! (I'm falling way behind!) Hopefully they'll be up soon. Today I also re-designed the way the Aaron Pages were layed out (see the table above).

We entered Aaron into a baby contest at the local county fair (Kimberton Fair). There were 20 other babies there ages 7 - 10 months - and AARON TOOK FIRST PLACE! He won a big blue ribbon and a $25 check! I should have the picture from the newspaper up here soon!

Wow, I've been really busy - so busy, I haven't made any updates to my site in over a month! *bah!* Aaron now has TWO teeth, he's rocking on all fours, and creeping a little bit - not crawling yet though. He's still in the "I'm going to cry if you leave the room" phase, and also has some "stranger anxiety" when people try to hold him - even his grandparents! I hope to get some more pictures up here sometime this week - as I've got two rolls just waiting to be scanned! Stay Tuned!

Well, Aaron has tried a few new foods over the last few weeks, and has liked them all, with no reactions. Today was his 6 month checkup! He gained 1 pound 13 ounces, and also grew 2 inches in the last 2 months! Check out the Aaron Growth Chart Page for detailed charts!

Today Jennifer fed Aaron sweet potatoes!! She said he really liked them! On top of that, Aaron rolled from his back to his front today - for the first time! He's really growing up now!

Jennifer left Aaron alone with me for a while (about 3 hours) and I fed him bananas - from a jar! His first jar food! He really enjoyed it, and ate about 3 table-spoonfuls. Today Aaron is officially 5 Months Old. He is actually 151 days old today, but thats close enough to 5 months, right?

Well, after a long weekend of traveling, we finally made it home! Aaron slept most of the way, but was cranky when he wasn't sleeping. Monday night Aaron was his old jovial self again. He's been sitting up more and more by himself now, without support, even reaching for things, leaning over, without falling. And when he does fall, he's got a smile on his face! We also started him on a barley cereal, just to give him a new taste.

A big weekend for our son! We took him up to see his grandfather and other relatives near Wilkes Barre, PA! Aaron got the chance to be fed by Uncle Bear, and held by his Grandpa Jack, his Aunt Judy, and a few others! We also took Aaron swimming in a pool, at the hotel we stayed in! He really enjoyed it, and was splashing around, smiling up a storm! We came home, and he was really tired, slept most of the night, and through the morning. Aww, he's so cute! (new pictures of him up soon!)

Jennifer tried feeding Aaron a new food - carrots! She mashes them up well, and mixes them with a bit of water - and voila! Aaron really likes them! He's been eating two meals a day for a while now - the actual "food" during the day (lunch), and then some rice cereal right before bedtime. They say you aren't supposed to start on 3 meals until 6 months, so we'll wait!

For the past few days, Aaron has been turning up his nose when we tried to feed him some water. He just made these faces like "Eww!" So today, for the first time, Aaron had rice cereal mixed with apple juice, which he really liked, and then some Apple Juice in a cup, to wash it down! It was his first meal that was totally apart from Jennifer! This means I should have no problems feeding Aaron when Jennifer wants to work part time in the summer!

Jennifer and I were both in a wedding (Nick and Janel's!) so we had Pam, a friend of the family, babysit for Aaron - for the first time! We were only gone about 2 hours, and Aaron was happy when we got home!

I put up the 9 Professional Pictures of Aaron that we got! So cute! Also, my parents came over for dinner, and my mother got to feed Aaron for the first time! She was really happy about it - it was mushed bananas and milk! Later that evening, I fed Aaron for the first time! He is starting to eat about 2 tablespoons of rice cereal / banana at a sitting! He really seemed to take to a spoon readily!

In the morning, for the first time, we fed Aaron some smushed up bananas with milk - a more liquidy mixture than anything else - but he seeemed to really like it. I'm not sure if it agreed with him though, because he was fussy for the rest of the night.

We got together with my brother, his wife, and his 4 month old daughter, along with my parents, and my aunt, uncle and cousin - what fun! Aaron and Eva were trying to hold each other's hands, and Aaron had a great time with Eva's play-things! My brother's high chair was awesome, and Aaron seemed even more eager for his nightly rice cereal! We also got some pictures developed today! I should have them online sometime soon.

This time, when we tried the rice creal, we made it thicker than before - almost the consistency of apple sauce, or a non-runny oatmeal. Once again, Aaron really enjoyed it, and ate the entire bowl, licking his lips even!

Again we tried the rice cereal - and again Aaron attacked it! We decided to give it to him once a day, to get him used to the spoon and swallowing. At least for a while.

We had Aaron's 4 month checkup today, and although the doctor told us that Aaron was gaining weight fine, Jennifer was still concerned that he wasn't getting enough to eat. So, we tried giving him some milk mixed with a bit of rice cereal - he attacked the spoon voraciously! It had to have been only about an ounce, maybe less, but he sat there in my arms, and ate every last spoonfull! Amazing!
Sunday, April 18th, 1999
We went down to pick up Aaron from the nursery in Church, and found that he had rolled over from his belly to his side! The nursery staff told us that he did this twice! They also put him into a "walker" which he really enjoyed! When we got home, we got out our walker, and he really liked sitting up and playing with his toys.
Week of April 11th - 17th, 1999
Aaron has been staring at Jennifer's glass every time she takes a drink, so we decided to try giving him some water. We got a great plastic cup and tried him on some water - he loved it! He is constantly trying to pull the cup closer to his face and shove it into his mouth! We don't give him a lot of water, but we can hear him swallowing it!
