Tufts Field #4
Field #4 is located on the Tufts campus, across the street from Cousens Gym, beyond the baseball field.
From East Cambridge, take the McGrath O'Brien Highway through Somerville. Turn left onto Broadway (big intersection before Somerville Lumber). Follow Broadway up and over hill and then over the tracks. At the Powderhouse Square rotary, the first you come to, take the second right (at about 2:00) onto College Avenue (this puts the main Tufts campus on your left). Follow College Avenue up a small hill and through an intersection. Keep going straight and over a railway bridge. The field is on your right, as is parking.
The field is located beyond the baseball field and the infamous gravel pit field. Home plate is against the far fence, such that the left field line extends out towards the field with the gravel infield.
Watertown Field
The Watertown field is located behind the Arsenal Mall, off of Arsenal St. This is the same field we've been playing on the last 3 years.
One way to get there from Cambridge is:
Take Memorial Drive west to the intersection with the Fresh Pond Parkway. Continue straight onto Greenough Blvd., keeping the Charles River on your left. Follow Greenough until it ends in a T intersection with Arsenal St. Turn right. Go along to the main entrance to the Arsenal Mall on your left. Go into the mall and go along to the extreme right of the mall. The field and the parking are in back on the very right.
Storrow Drive provides a viable alternate route either over the Eliot Bridge and then left onto Greenough, or continue down Soldier's Field Road until you get to Arsenal St.
For 128ites, it's a real pain. I'll add how I go in detail later. Roughly take 128 South to 2 East. Take 60 South then wiggle through Belmont past the Fresh Pond golf course. Bear right through Belmont and Watertown on ??? and you pop out at the Arsenal Mall. Turn right to get to the main entrance.
This is also the field for Friday night games
Field #1 is located on the Tufts campus on Fletcher Field, at the intersection of Professor's Row and Curtis St. This is the
