Ok since I have asked other people to relay their stories to me I should tell you about my meeting with Ryan Klesko!
It was in August of 1998 when I was in Atlanta during a game. I made the friends I was with go to Left field so i could get some really great pictures of RK. He shags balls in left feild and he will play catch with fans in the stands. I was at the very first seats with my camera in tow. I got some really great pictures of him too.
While down there he keep pointing to me and telling me to catch the ball. I said "NO" Sorry but I have a camera. He was like i will though the ball very easy and you can put down the camera. NOPE not happening with this girl. So we went on to argue about me catching the ball. I was not letting any thing happen to my very nice and expensive camera. Besides he throws HARD! He keep pretending to throw to me and then would throw the ball to someone behind me or beside me and Grin the whole time. He was so funny and sweet.
The neatest part about this story for me is that he actually remembered me at ST this year in Orlando. He was like will you catch a ball now for me? NO I had the camera then too! I think he finally realizes I wont catch with him. Besides I had no glove at ST either. Then he smiled and said "shoot away".
Since this time I --along with a few friends-- took a road trip to see the Braves play the Reds in Cincy. We stayed at the same hotel as the braves and I got lucky again and meet Ryan again. I talked him for a total of 3 times in three days. First time I happened to be in the elevator w/him. I do admit I cant remember everything b/c I was in shock. But I do remember him talking a mile a minute to me. He also do told me I had an "awesome" jersey on. Told him I knew that. LOL I finally got my picture made with him **yes it is on the page** and I had my hat signed, figured what the heck. He is one awesome guy to meet. I do wonder though if he is somehow related too me and tonya. We all three have the same thots way to much. LOL And that is my story folks.
