FACILITIES

The Club provides a safe and friendly environment for individuals and families to participate in the sport of archery, and has facilities and services to accommodate all areas of interest in the sport.
INDOOR TARGET RANGE
The Archers of Caledon has a 30m x 15m (100ft. x 50ft.) heated indoor range.  The range is set up in 10 lanes with shooting distances from 10m to 25m.  Most of the indoor shooting is done at 18m or 20yds.

The Club's archery instructional program takes place on the indoor range.

OUTDOOR RANGES
The Club has four outdoor shooting venues:

  • An International target range (shooting distances from 30m to 70m for women, and 30m to 90m for men)
  • A 28-target field course (like a golf course in the woods, with targets of varying sizes at various distances from 20ft. to 80yds.)
  • A 3D course (which uses a variety of animal targets set at variable distances on a course through the woods)
  • An outdoor practice range (with targets set in both metres and yards)
The outdoor season usually runs from April to late September.  An orientation day for the outdoor facilities is offered in early spring.

CLUBHOUSE FACILITIES
In addition to the heated indoor shooting range, the clubhouse features a lounge looking onto the international target range, a full kitchen, washrooms with showers, an observation deck in the indoor range, an outside patio, snack and pop machines, and ample parking maintained year-round.
