3 Rich Locicero INF   R/R
Rich is one of the veteran leaders of the team. Although he has lost a step or two (or three) Rich is an infielder who can be penciled in for an automatic 30 hit season..……occasional power to both gaps……would hit several triples but for lack of speed. A popular player, always has fans in the stands. 1999 - Now a speed merchant, Rich hit an inside the park home run against the Brick Reds. He's having another consistent year at the plate, on a pace to hit over .350. Has shown versatility defensively, playing right field.

5Paul D’AngeloOF, DH   L/L
Paul is the senior member of the team and a 28 year veteran of Over-30 baseball. Master of the legendary “alumiwood” bat, Paul provides the Dodgers with a dependable bat deep into the batting order……initiating several big innings. 1999 - Just as the sun rises from the East, Paul continues to hit the ball. Paul and the alumiwood have delivered several hits this year, including some late inning clutch hits.

10 Louis “Dal” Dalpra  INF   R/R
Newcomer to the Dodgers, Dal, a professional high school coach, has proven to be a steady infielder with a lively bat. Dal’s game is sharp…..playing ball every with the 15 year olds will always help. The Dodgers’ “Charlie Hustle”. See # 27 Kernan. 1999 - Dal has been one of the Dodgers most efficient players and has found a knack for scoring runs. Dal has scored 12 runs in only 10 games.

16 Joe Wells  SS   R/R
Intensity, enthusiasm for the game and a vocal, competitive spirit makes Joey one of the most visible Dodgers.  Joe’s field presence is unmistakable, just ask any of the Dodgers’ opponents. Despite several nagging injuries, Wells is versatile offensive player. Joe can find many ways to get on base and can steal a base when needed. 1999 - Joey has also proven to be a very efficient player. Although he has missed several games, with his newborn baby, Joe has produced terrific numbers. He's among the team leaders in batting average on on base percentage.

17 Matt Dobbie  Manager, LHP   L/R
Matt is one of the most respected pitchers in the USOTB and the workhorse of the Dodgers staff. He has led the Dodgers in wins, starts and innings pitched for the last two seasons. A deliberate worker, Matt has mastered a variety of pitches and changes speed and location well. Offensively, Matt swings a dangerous bat and has won the teams Don Baylor HBP award for the past 3 seasons. Apparently Matt wears a bullseye on his uniform because every part of Matt’s body has been hit by a pitch since 1996……every part. 1999 - After fighting off some nagging injuries Matt has returned to his position as the team's ace. Now a patient hitter, Matt leads the team in walks. He even belted a home run over the left field fence.

21 Tom Brereton  1B   L/L
A seasoned veteran, Tommy’s consistency in the field and at the plate makes him one of the most dependable Dodgers. In addition to playing a flawless first base, Tommy provides some left handed punch in the heart of the Dodgers order. 1999 - Tommy is having a phenomenal season at the plate. Although no speedster, he leads the team in runs scored and is batting well over .400. He has played every inning flawlessly at first base.

   22 Rich Vincz  LF   R/R
“Richie Baseball” supplies the power in the Dodgers lineup and carries one of the strongest outfield arms in the USOTB.  One of the most dangerous home run hitters in the lineup, Rich is always among the team leaders in slugging. “Nuke” can also nail base runners from any spot in the outfield. Rich is also a pitcher with a lively fastball. He is available to make appearances as Don Mattingly for a small fee. 1999 - Richie continues to produce with the bat. His 8 doubles lead the team and he is tied for second in runs scored with 15. A steady fixture in left field, Rich helps to make the Dodger outfield one of the best in the league.

25 Joseph Lichtenfeld  OF/INF   R/R
A versatile player, can play any position on the diamond. Won 10 games as a starting pitcher in 1996 and played centerfield for the entire 1998 season. Hits for high average and is a speedy baserunner. Still awaiting his first career homerun and hopes that the USOTB never outlaws the Easton Redline….Ultra-peen. Only Dodger to appear on a nationally televised music video game show.  1999 - Joe is having a miserable season at the plate, watching his average drop significantly. He has scored 12 runs in 12 games, however, making the most of his infrequent times on base.

  27 Bryan Kernan  2B   R/L
Newcomer to the Dodgers. See # 10 Dalpra. 1999 - Bryan hit the ball extremely well in the beginning of the season before leaving the team to concentrate on other pursuits.

28 Mark Baker  CF   L/L
Mark is the Dodgers most polished player…a real 5 tool player. Hits for average and power from the left side, good speed on the bases. “Bakersfield” is where fly balls always find a home. The most dangerous bat in the Dodger lineup, can carry the team offensively.  “Bake” is also tied with Rich Locicero for the largest fan club. Has returned to the lineup after an injury filled 1998 without missing a step. 1999 - Mark has missed much of the season with other commitments. His return to the lineup for the playoff stretch should help to jump start the offense.

  30 Dan Donnelly    R/R
Demanding catcher and team enforcer. Dan keeps the pitchers in line as well as maintaining order in the dugout.  Dan thrives on very little sleep and swings a strong bat. Dan is currently competing with Rich Locicero for the Dodgers Tortoise Award…….slow and steady wins the race !!  1999 - Dan continued to be a strong influence on the field. He's hitting a solid .333 and has shown the toughness necessary as a catcher and enforcer. Dan still could use a new alarm clock.

32 Bob Evans  P/INF    R/R
1999 promises to be a great year on the mound for Bobby. Although he hits for average, shows some occasional power and plays a smooth shortstop, it’s as a starting pitcher where Bobby excels. He has “great stuff” and is off to a fast start in ’99 collecting the win in his first start. Bobby Jr. is one of the team’s most loyal fans. 1999 - Bobby is having a fine year at the plate with a .500 on base percentage. He has taken charge in the infield with his solid play at shortstop. He smacked a grand slam home run earlier this season.

  41 Mike Cannon  3B/OF   R/R
A pure power hitter who hits majestic, high longballs. There’s never any doubt about a Cannon shot. Also a versatile defensive player, Mike has found a home at third base in ’99. Mike’s presence in the heart of the Dodger lineup stikes fear in opposing pitchers. 1999 - The Dodgers' unanimous MVP. Mike leads the team in virtually all offensive catagories and has played in every single game. He has even shown some slick fielding at 3rd base. A fantastic season which will undoubtedly carry over into the playoffs.

44 Paul O’Sullivan  C R/R
A real “baseball man”, Paul is currently the head coach at Lacey High School. A dependable catcher and strong hitter. Paul’s encouragement from the field and the bench has a very positive effect on the ball club, in fact,  Paul sacrificed his nose for the team in 1997. 1999 - Following a demanding season with the Lacey Lions, Paul returned to the Dodgers for another solid season. Although his numbers are down, Paul's hits have come in big spots. Paul showed his versatility one week filling in at 2nd base. The nimble infielder almost turned a double play.
