The Offspring (my favorite)

Tool

Welcome to my music page. I am a big fan of music and have been since I was a little boy. I like all kinds of music except for country and rap, although I can even be caught listening to those on occasion. My favorite kinds of music are rock and alternative, (if there really is a difference between the two).

I've always loved rock, and heavy metal. When I was little I mainly liked it because my parents hated me listening to it. But I've always had a genuine liking for it. From Twisted Sister to Poison, and then came Motley Crue and Guns N' Roses. My favorite groups today are The Offsring, Tool, Creed, Metallica, and Green Day. Not to mention Stabbing Westward and Garbage. Those are just my favorites, for I enjoy listening to many other bands, such as Smashing Pumpkins, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Collective Soul, and many others.

I've only been to two rock concerts in my life. In 1996, I went to Lalapooza in Indianapolis, where I saw Metallica and Soundgarden. Soundgarden put on a great show, but Metallica stole the show shortly after when they took stage. They were fabulous!!! I payed $37.50 to see twelve bands, but I would have payed it all just to see Metallica. The whole thing, however, was a great experience. In February of 1997, I went to a Smashing Pumpkins concert at Indiana University. They were pretty good, but they definitely sound better on CD.

I've never yet had the oppurtunity to see my favorite band, The Offspring. I would love the oppurtunity to see them because they are the best. On this page, I have listed my top ten favorite CD's of all time.
