Volunteer Indoor Classic, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN

Nelly Anderson of Cordillera Academy in Charlotte, won the 1,600 meters (5:13.05) and 800 meters (2:23.84).

Carolina Day's Laura Stanley placed 4th in the Invitational Girls Mile with a 4:59.56.

January 25-26:
Virginia Tech Indoor High School Meet, Blacksburg VA
(200 meter track)

Mount Tabor's Mike Loyd won the 300m in 34.26, the 3rd-best nationally this season. Loyd was DQ'd (false start) in his heat in the 55m Hurdles. Laura Stanley (Carolina Day) won the 1600m in a meet record 4:56.35 -- the 4th best in the US this year. Stanley is one of ten selected to run in the Girls Mile in the 95th Annual Millrose Games Friday, February 1st at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Carly Matthews (Mount Tabor) placed 3rd in 5:05.79.

Mount Tabor's Colin Cronin placed 5th in the 3200m (9:37.89) and 13th in the 1600m (4:30.84).
