"Claudita has always been overshadowed by her teammates, I mean she had Milo, Gogean, and Amanar all in front of her in terms of being in the spotlight. Now is the time that Claudita is making her mark! Look how well she did at the recent Euopean's. She placed third in the all-around. What an accomplishment!! I feel that there is no question that Claudita could make the 2000 Olympic team, even though Belu doesn't think so. She would definitly be the team leader. Go Claudita!!" -- Kim
"Compared to those who burst in to the stage early in their career, Claudia does not have great results competing as a junior. She was never regarded as the next Nadia. She walked her way slowly, sometimes with obstacles in her way yet was able to overcome them and shine over the world stage in this year's Europeans. Sure,she could have shined long ago back in 96 if wasn't for the injury. But the Claudia resulted from that wouldn't have been the Claudia we know and respect today. "Claudia is definately on her way to the top. She has style, grace and great moves. If she keeps it up she will be, no doubt, on the Sydney 2000 women's gymnastics team. In the past she has been overshadowed by other romanian gymnasts such as Gogean, Amanar, Milosovici but now she has reach the point where we cannot deny her anymore. She has slowly but determinatly forced her way to the top. I love that determination in a gymnast! Great work Claudia!"--Michael
