Safety First (Responsibility)

Have you ever wondered what could happen if there was an accident while you were playing paintball? Or what if you were just fooling around in the backyard or showing of your new paintgun. In addition to the pain and suffering caused by an injury there would likely be attempts to ban paintball and all paintball guns.

If this sounds a bit farfetched then think again. Incidents like these have had similar results in many places in Canada and the U.S.. In some cases it was only through the efforts of the IPPA, or other paintball groups, that paintball was not banned completely.

Every time you pick up a paintball gun you hold the future of the sport in your hands. It is YOUR responsibility to ensure that you and your friends play safely whether you play at an organized field or out on the back 40.

Always wear paintball approved eye protection. Never play without first chronographing all paintguns. Never mix paintball with alcohol. Always use barrel blockers in safe zones. Never use signs, phone poles, cars, or the neighbours dog as targets. Never use your paintgun to scare anyone.

Join your local players club and always follow the Players Code of Conduct.

Play safe. We're all counting on you.
