THE LAST SCHEDULED CLUB MEETING WAS HELD ON DECEMBER 4, 2002

 

We had a good crowd. The club is not dead yet. We hope to continue the trips and possibly schedule more meetings in the future. The web page will continue, and contacts to other club members can be made by emailing to the link below or to finestdivers@mindspring. We have been together for over ten years and have had many successful events and numerous trips to great dive locations. Let's see if we can continue.

  Here is a picture of Ken Weinberg and divers on the Jeanne II with some goodies taken from a new wreck just sunk as an artificial reef on 7/23/01.  It's the APL 31, a 260' x 50' x 50' Navy Hotel.  See what local diving can bring. CLUB MISSION

The purpose of this club is to:

1. Provide a forum for certified divers who are members of Police Departments in the City of New York and surrounding areas.

2. Encourage and promote safe diving practices.

3. Provide opportunities for divers to participate in dive travel and local dive activities at reduced group rates.
