BENTLEY'S SPENGLER AND GANGEMI HONORED BY ECAC

WALTHAM, Mass.-- Bentley College's Mike Spengler (Billerica / Arlington Catholic) has been named as Bauer/ECAC Central Hockey Player of the Week for his efforts last week. Teammate Brian Gangemi (Tewksbury / Buckingham, Browne, and Nichols) also received recognition with selection as the Bauer/ECAC Central Rookie of the Week.

Spengler
set career highs for points in a game this past Saturday, netting two goals and adding four assists in an 18-2 victory over Suffolk University. The six-point night also gave him a career high 14 points, evenly split between goals and assists, surpassing his total of 13 last year. Spengler is currently fifth on the team, and tied for seventh in the ECAC Central, in scoring.

Gangemi
also had a career night against Suffolk University, grabbing his first career hat trick and four assists. He also picked up an assist Tuesday's 5-2 victory over Assumption. He is currently the team's top rookie scorer, and second on the team, with 12 goals and 11 assists. Gangemi is also tied for fourth in ECAC Central scoring.

The ECAC Central-leading Falcons (10-4, 6-1 ECAC Central), 3-2 victors over Skidmore College Tuesday night, return to action this Saturday when they travel to Colchester, Vt. to meet second place St. Michael's College (9-5, 5-1 ECAC Central). In the first meeting between the two, the Falcons came out with a 6-2 win.
