CURRENT SCENARIO

January, 1999

The ICBINR has almost a year under it's belt right now since reopening it's doors in 1998. A newly acquired television contract and a growing roster with an ever growing fan base have helped to move the federation one step closer to the greatness it achieved in it's initial run in 1996. Financial setbacks late in the 98 year have forced the ICBINR to tighten it's belt a little for the coming year but the horizon is clear and brighter skies are looming for the ICBINR.

1998 saw the ICBINR crown it's first United States Heavyweight Champion as well as fill all the championship spots in both of it's regions, Great Plains (GPWA) and Iowa Onslaught (IOWA) Wrestling Alliance's. It also saw the formation of the IOWA in August of 98 as the GPWA grew beyond a manageable roster size.

With rumors of the ICBINR hosting the 1st Annual Mark Stritar Memorial Tag-Team Cup Tournament on the breeze, a locally syndicated radio show and a sudden insurgence of former GIWF superstars to it's roster. The ICBINR stands poised to grow quickly in 1999 and take one step closer to once again becoming a world wide federation sometime in the year 2000.
