  • FANTALK - HAVE YOUR SAY!

This page is designed to allow fans to have their say on activities down the 'Lane, comment on recent games and generally offer bouquets and brickbats where they're deserved.

We welcome comment from supporters of other clubs as well Middlefield loyalists. All that we ask is that you keep contributions and criticisms as positive as possible. When a club is going through a difficult patch it is more important than ever that supporters are as vocal in their support of the many positives as they are critical of the negatives.

So over to you. Please mail your contributions to the e-mail address at the foot of the page. Preferably keep them short and concise so we can include as many people as possible.

    From Dave Green:

I am a Hinckley United fan and I go to all or nearly all home games. Words are circulating around the Middlefield lane that we don't give the Knitters enough home support. The occasional "UNITED, UNITED" can be heard by old men but we have many youngsters and middle-aged fans that just watch the players instead of shouting, singing and chanting. I believe that we should create some songs and write them in our programs. Away, our fans are noisy and lift the players, hence the 6 v 0 thrashing of Redditch and numourous 4 v 1 away results that we coud only hope for at home. We DO get better results away which can be good because if we can improve at home, then we will be strong both home and away. The official Hinckley United program says " When Hinckley are away the travelling supporters actually support the lads, when they are at home the supporters only watch the lads." This is a personal quote and is not connected with any member of Hinckley United Football Club.
