Born in 1958 and raised in Music City, Ron has been playing music for 27 years. His knack for playing anything put in front of him blossomed into a 16-year career with the Oaks, for whom he plays keyboards, mandolin and guitar. Additionally, Ron is the musical director for the stage show. Ron has literally built his musical career piece by piece. The digital keyboard system he now plays on stage, as well as various others in the past, he engineered himself. He has built his own recording studio, where he has done a variety of radio-related work. When the road and recording aren't calling on Ron's time, it's sailing, learning to fly airplanes, computers and computer programming, and the sport of hockey that do!
