At the All Star Game a new color was released which was the white carolina blue with white patent leather (2ND shoe shown). MJ wore those in the All Star Game. With the season coming to a close MJ unveals yet another color which was black with red soles and black patent leather. MJ surprises shoe lovers everywhere by wearing a low top version of the Air Jordan XI. This did not have patent leather as you can see in the last two pictures. MJ was sporting the low cut version for several games until the playoffs where he sprained his ankles. During a game trainers brougth out the patent leather Air Jordan XI (black with red soles) for Jordan to where instead of the low tops. Since then he never wore the low tops besides for training.
