Wed. March 3rd.
10:00- English teacher informs us that if we miss school on Thursday due to snow we will have school on Friday, even though its supposed to be a day off.
11:13- While in art class kids go crazy because a blizzard like snow is falling and no signs of it stopping. It is announced that at 12:45 we will be released to go home.
11:50- I go to lunch. Have a meeting with my friends about where and when to meet the next day so we can make it to Thunder with out problems, there will defiantly be no snow tomorrow.
12:45- Sitting in the gym, no point in playing hockey. It is announced that they will not release us due to a jackknifed truck on the highway, and the road conditions.
1:00- My name is announce on the intercom because my mom has come to rescue me.
4:00- It is announced on the radio that there will be no school Thursday and Friday.
Thursday March 4th:
9:10- My phone rings, Erik is giving me my wake up call.
10:45- Erik calls again to tell me hes on his way to get me.
11:30- I finally get in touch with Bonnie and tell her we’ll be there to get her around 12:30.
11:35- I call Jim to wake him up, his brother informs me that hes not home. First problem of the day, where is Jim. Alan’s house, damn, I hate Alan and don’t know his number. Erik calls Lauren’s house to get it, but shes in New York. Evelyn has no clue. Only one solution, Bonnie used to date his brother Satan. I have to call Bonnie again and drudge up bad memories by requesting the number, it scares her to know that she doesn’t even have to look it up.
12:20- We finally find Jim and catch him before he leaves to go to his house.
12:35- We drag Bonnie through the snow and into the van.
12:50- We finally find Jim’s house, luckily I remembered which one it is, and we throw him in the van.
1:00- We’re off to Winston Salem, with a short stop for gas.
2:30- Once in Winston, we have to find the coliseum, last time we were there the directions came from a guy that was stoned.
2:50- We get in to the parking lot, then go across the street so the guys can get food.
3:30- We make our way down to the gates where the guys park their cars. Erik insists that he saw someone in the normal parking lot. We get to the gate and the car he saw pulls in. I immediately know who it is. I stand in shock as I see Raven step out of the car, actually more in awe than shock. We are the only people standing out there. He gets his bags out of the trunk while talking on his cell phone. Looks over at us and directly at me, can’t help but noticing I have on a Raven shirt, slightly grins but keeps talking on the phone and moves on into the building. Chastity was with him, she really needs her make up. We continue to stand in awe until he disappears.
3:35- We turn and see someone jogging down the sidewalk towards the gate. Vincent, just jogs right into the building.
3:40- Ric Flair pulls into the lot.
3:45- We begin to talk to the security guy. He shows us a list of the people that are to be there and whos already arrived, we missed a lot of people. He didn’t know who Chastity was so I told him she was the one with Raven. I got to hold his walkie talkie while he marked her off.
Time somewhat morphed together by then. We saw Scott Steiner come out and get in his car and leave. Ralphus came back and forth, said hi to us. Disco was driven out, he waved at Erik, he came back in later. We saw Al Greene come out and eat an ice cream cone, then he put his trash in one of those orange cones and went back in. I saw Dean Malenko come out for a smoke. Konnan pulled in, he was wearing some awful looking green outfit. Then we saw Bam Bam as I was trying to take his picture Chavo pulled in and got his car in my way. We saw Mike Enos come, but they must have sent him home cause a taxi came and got him with his bags. Fit Finley was there but left, he looks pretty cool out of the ring.
Across the street from the gate is an adult store, if you know what I mean. So while nothing was happening we played hey they must be buying porn. I know we were just trying not to freeze, it was pretty darn cold out there.
6:00- We finally give in to the cold and go into the building to find our seats and finish our signs.
6:30- People are starting to file in.
7:05- The tapings start. First match of the night, Raven vs. Dave Taylor. Raven kicks some major ass. He gets a major response from the crowd. Chastity just gets on my nerves. I don’t care since I get to see him fight again, three out of the four WCW events I’ve been to I’ve gotten to see him fight.
7:20- Next up is that tag team of which I can’t remember who they are vs. Malenko and Benoit. This was a very short match, a very short match. I don’t have to tell you who won.
7:40Johnny Swinger vs. Jerry Flinn. This was a pretty good match, Swinger is pretty good. Unfortunately Flinn for some reason is getting a little push and Swinger has to lose to him.
7:50- David Penzer comes out and yacks for a bit, he is such a goof.
8:05- Thunder offcially starts.
Once again time just morphs into one lump. You all saw what was on tv. Hugh Morus vs. Rick Stiener, Al Greene vs. The Cat and Sonny, Saturn challenged Jericho, if you were listening when Saturn said chick dig guys in skirts I was the scream you heard from the audience, Prince Iuaka (or however you spell it) vs. Bam Bam, Bam Bam is sporting and outfit he hasn’t worn in years, Horace and Vincent vs. Hennig and Windam, after Malenko and Benoit interfered Malenko noticed Jim and his down with the Horsemen hand signals, we got a dirty look, Jim Duggan returns, best match for this week Chavo vs. Kidman, I got a great shot of th SSP, then the main match Buff vs. Tooker B. I mean Booker T.
10:15- The tapings begin again.
10:20- Jim (I refuse to call him Hak) vs. The Barbarian. A pretty good length match. I seem to remember Jim winning. But I could be wrong.
10:35- Steiner and Buff vs. Mysterio and Tooker B. A great match. Only problem was that Steiner was in a bad mood that night and someone in the audience really got under his skin. Enough to get Steiner so mad that he jumped the rails in the middle of the match and went after the guy. No one got hurt, the security guys got Steiner to return to the ring. But Steiner took his anger out on the others. Rey got it bad when he was slammed into the stairs and after he hit the ref with the chair he had to be carried out. Buff was pinned and that didn’t make Steiner any happier.
10:50- Main match for next week. Disco vs. Ric Flair. No questions on who won, and there was no interference from the back. No Hogan or Nash although both of them were supposed to be there. No Randy Savage either and he was there.
11:00- We go and pick up my card board cut out of Kevin Nash that I bought. And then drag ourselves to the parking lot. We take a left to find I-40 and pass by the gates again, Raven’s been long gone.
11:30- We’re still trying to find the highway to get home.
12:00- We’re on our way home, officially.
1:00- We drop Jim off at his house.
1:20- Bonnie jumps out of the van and into the snow drift in her yard.
1:40- Erik drops me off across the street from my house because theres too much snow in my driveway. I forget all about Kevin and leave him in the car.
2:00- I check my mail and such.
3:00- I pass out.
