Captian of PCC from 1995 to 1998, and lead PCC to the NWCL Championship in 1996. Was given the award of "Bowler with the highest Strike Rate" in the 1997 season. I probably also have the distinction of playing for the most clubs in the northwest.

Most Memorable NWCL Matches:

First match with Multnomah CC in the 1997-98 season which we won by ONLY one run, despite a very partial and incompetent umpire from Multnomah CC.

Other Most Memorable Matches:

Watching Pakistan thrash England in the Worldcup finals. Also, watching Amir Sohail and Saeed Anwar go at it against India in the last Worldcup.

Favorite Ground in NWCL:

For batting it was John Deere in the 1996-97 season, when the outfield was so fast, you could get 4s on flicks. It has gone bad now. For spin bowling, Pullman has the best track, but a slow outfield.

Naveed Syed from Indo-Pak, Janto from our club

Hardest Bowlers to Face in NWCL:

Fresh squeezed orange juice and sugar-cane juice

Favorite Food:

Traditional breakfast and Chikkar chole, both from Lakshmi Chowk, Lahore

How we can improve cricket in the Northwest?:

We need to develop cricket at the grass-roots level, by coaching youth (much on the lines of soccer). We also need to tap into the ever growing supply of cricketers in the northwest (fueled by the growth in this area). We definitely need to cooperate with each other to find more grounds to play on. And lastly, we need to make sure that people who are in here for reasons other than cricket, and who wish to bring their country club mentality in here, should stay out of it.

Dislikes:

Mostly things I do not like

Likes:

It is stuff that I like

Personal Quote:

A pat on the back is just 12 inches higher than a kick in the pants, but is twice as more effective.
