2. TOURNAMENTS
Many thanks to those schools who have entered the LOTTO Premier Tournament. To date we have received 33 entries for the LOTTO Premier Tournament. Entries for this Tournament have now closed. It is important that all Schools who enter the Premier tournament remember that they must be prepared to attend a satellite tournament if unsuccessful in gaining entry to the Premier Tournament. Schools who do not attend a satellite tournament after entering the Premier Tournament may not be considered for entry in 2000.
The LOTTO Premier Tournament will be held in Palmerston North, 23 - 27 August. In order to ensure accommodation and travel can be arranged satisfactorily, we strongly suggest that schools begin tentative arrangements. In addition, Wanganui (Jim Wishart Cup), Auckland and Dunedin are available to host satellite tournaments.
Entry to the Satellite Tournaments closes on Friday June 4. The N.Z.S.S.F.A. Executive will endeavour to place schools at venues of their first choice. With up to three satellite venues and the LOTTO Premier 24 team tournament, it is likely we can place all schools who have entered.
Wild Card allocations are only available to schools who entered the N.Z.S.S.F.A. LOTTO Tournament by the due date - Friday March 26 1999. PREMIER TOURNAMENT CONTACTS The contact people for the LOTTO Premier Tournament in Palmerston North are:

3. AHI CUP
The AHI Cup was donated to the Association by Alex Harvery Industries in 1988. It is a Challenge Cup, which must be defended at least 7 times in the regular season. At least one of these challenges should come from outside of the holders home region. In addition, the holder of the AHI Cup must defend the trophy in their last match at Tournament.
Kelston Boys High School are the current holders of the AHI Cup, having defeated previous holders Auckland Grammar School in the last match of the 1998 LOTTO Premier Tournament in Dunedin. Schools wishing to challenge Kelston Boys High School should contact the Master-in-Charge of Soccer by fax - 09 8186183.
Kelston have already accepted a challenge from New Plymouth Boys' High School.
4. SPONSORS
Once again, the Association acknowledges the generous support of Sports Scene Ltd, suppliers of LOTTO Italian Design Sportswear. We ask you to consider LOTTO footballs and football strips when making your purchasing decisions.
