Born Debra Ann Micelli in Milan, Italy, Madusa is the most popular and respected female wrestler in
the sport in the 1990s. Standing 5'9" and weighing 150 lbs., Madusa began her wrestling career in 1987 in the Minnesota-based American Wrestling Association where she captured the Womens Title by defeating Candy Devine.

While in the AWA, Madusa managed several male wrestlers, including Curt Hennig. After leaving the AWA she signed on with All Japan Women's Wrestling and won the IWA World title .

After leaving Japan, Madusa entered World Championship Wrestling. While with the promotion, she managed Rick Rude and then-husband Eddie "Hot Stuff" Gilbert and later joined Paul E. Dangerously's Dangerous Alliance.

Although Madusa was able to participate in singles competition while in the WCW, she would gain
greater fame in 1993 when she entered the World Wrestling Federation under the name Alundra  Blayze. There she traded the Womens Title back and forth with the likes of Bull Nakono and Bertha Faye.

When the WWF lessened its focus on the Womens division, Madusa moved back to WCW  for a few years until she retired from the sport to concentrate on a career in kick boxing, where she  is considered one of the top women in the sport.

Although her career suffered greatly from a lack of  interest by American promoters, the name Madusa  has become synonymous with excellence in  Womens wrestling.

In 1999 she came back to WCW and was put in a angle with Macho Man Randy Savage w/his valet George and Miss Maddnes( Mona) in the Team Maddness stable.
