Grand Master Chae Sun Yi, founder and President of Sun Yi's Academy, is
recognized as an 9th Dan Internationally Certified Master Instructor.
Grand Master Yi taught the R.O.K. TKD Instructor Staff and served as Captain
of the Korean National Team from 1968 thru 1970.
In 1975, he started teaching Tae Kwon Do in the United States at Kansas
State University and subsequently founded the National Headquarters for
Sun Yi's Academy in Topeka, Kansas. Grand Master Yi embraces the philosophies
of Traditional Tae Kwon Do as a way of life and created the TTA as an
organization to support these beliefs.
