Great links for the airplane buff:
Every so often check back into this aircraft hangar and see what is on display. All of the photos on this particular page were taken by me unless otherwise specified. The photos consist of all types of airplanes; big and small, slow and fast, military and civil, etc. I will have about twelve aircraft in the main hangar, several more aircraft in the thumbnail section and an indexed section with all airplanes in alphabetical order. Check them out. If there is a particular airplane that you would like to see here, I may just have a photo. If you feel the need to download any of these pictures, again just e-mail me and I'll be happy to obligue. Visit often, watch for oil on the ground and remember to yell CONTACT! Enjoy.

The Great War Aeroplanes
Consolidated B-24 Liberator, photographed on the tarmac at Fantasy of Flight in Polk, Florida. Not too many of these around anymore. Especially flyable ones like this one. Aircraft carrier simulation area at the Museum of Naval Aviation in Pensacola, Florida. A Grumman F6F Hellcat is the closest aircraft. On the deck are a Curtiss SB2C Helldiver and a Grumman F8F Bearcat. Note the replica aircraft carrier island in the background.
This is a Douglas D.558 Skystreak experimental airplane. This example might be the only one of it's kind. It is seen here in the beautiful Navy Museum in Pensacola, Florida.
This is a Bucker Bu. 133 Jungman in the hangar at Fantasy of Flight. This aircraft is like new as are many of Kermit's airplanes.
In this picture we can see 3 large aircraft parked at the outdoor display area of the Navy Museum in Pensacola. On the left is the Martin P5M Marlin. On the right is a Convair C-131 Samaritan.  And the nose of a Douglas C-118 Liftmaster is in the background. One of my all time favorite aircraft to have ever had the pleasure of seeing, this is the historic Curtiss NC-4 flying boat. This aircraft was the first to cross the Atlantic Ocean under the guidance of Commander John H. Tower.
The pleasing lines of the Douglas F4D Skyray, truly a beautiful aircraft.. The Skyray was the first carrier designed aircraft to hold the world speed record back in 1953 (753 MPH).
The Curtiss BFC Goshawk. The colors of the "between wars" aircraft were beautiful as can be seen in this aircraft.. With a 700 HP engine the Goshawk was a versatile carrier borne fighter bomber.
This Arado Ar.234 Blitz is 100% complete although temporarily dissasembled. This aircraft is located in the Paul E. Garber Facility in Maryland.
Inside the main hangar in Kermit Weeks' Fantasy of Flight. This shot shows some great airplanes. The large 4 engined aircraft is the Short Sunderland which visitors can walk inside of.
The real "Spirit of St. Louis" is located in Washington D.C. This is an authentic replica of the airplane made famous by Charles Lindbergh. The airplane is in Polk, Florida's Fantasy of Flight.
I was tempted to put this one in the mystery plane's department. But I will be nice. This is the rare Convair Sea Dart. The Navy had an idea of a supersonic aircraft that can land and take off on water. They used an F-102 and did some modifying. The result was this unique machine. This photo was taken at the Sun N Fun Museum in Lakeland, Florida.
