Worcestershire School Sailing and Canoeing Association

The WSSCA enables school children to learn a variety of watersport activities, either as part of their school, or as individual members. Activities take place at Upton Warren, between Easter and October half term, after school and at some times over weekends.

The season also includes a series of races and regattas at other locations, details can be found in the events calendar. The social side of these meeting is encouraged and it is good to see friendships develop between children from all parts of the Country.

Standards range from absolute beginners, to extremely competent sailors. Some members have been selected for the National Youth Squads and the County always achieves good results in the national and international events.

Our own County regatta gives youngsters of all abilities, the opportunity to take part in an organised racing event, that involves a degree of concentration, teamwork and a lot of fun. The vital ingredients for personal development.
