The proceeds from this fabulous run/walk will, again, benefit AssistHers.
AssistHers is a volunteer organization formed in 1996 to provide in-home support and care to lesbian women with chronic or disabling illnesses.
Additionally, in an effort to breakdown barriers which lesbians face when accessing care, the AssistHers Education Committee is working with over 400 local physicians, nurse practitioners, and mental health care providers to teach them to be more knowledgeable about and responsive to their lesbian patients.

We always need volunteers.
